Celebrating stories that shaped our communities

NSW Government Environment and Heritage
blue plaques video project

The NSW Government Blue Plaques Program recognises people, places and events that have played an important role in shaping the history of New South Wales.

We were engaged to produce a series of videos for the NSW Government's Blue Plaques Program, capturing the stories behind significant plaques across the state. For this project, we travelled to Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club to tell the story of Duke Kahanamoku and his lasting influence on Australian surfing culture. The video explores the historical significance of the plaque while capturing the way the local community continues to engage with and celebrate this important piece of history.
